More than 150 people enjoyed food, entertainment, and the new facilities at the Hendy Woods Day Use Area on June 28. A joint project of Hendy Woods Community, Save the Redwoods League, and CA State Parks, the renovated area has two new shade structures, bathrooms, pathways, drinking fountains, BBQs, and interpretive panels, all complying with the standards of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
